Advocates for Innocence Advisory Council

The Montana Innocence Project is dedicated to exonerating the innocent and preventing wrongful convictions.  To increase our statewide impact, we are in the process of creating an Advocates for Innocence Advisory Council.  To be  successful, we believe it is critical that representatives from the legal community, community leaders, political leaders, and other stakeholders have the opportunity to provide input and service to our organization.

The following community leaders have committed to serving on the Advocates for Innocence and we look forward to growing it even more over the coming year:

  • John Cobb, Rancher and former State Senator

  • Robert Goldstein, Retired Partner Foley & Lardner, LLP

  • Lynda Moss, former State Senator

  • Jim Regnier, former Montana Supreme Court Justice

  • Brian Schweitzer, former State Governor

  • Pat Williams, former State Congressman

We are excited to work with these respected leaders and tap into their experience to help make a valuable contribution to our organization.
